New extended timetable to take effect at NWSS in 2025
will introduce a new extended timetable starting September 2025 to accommodate its growing student population. The modified schedule, developed after months of consultations with staff, students, parents, and other interested parties, aims to enhance access to programs and foster a collaborative learning environment.
Work on creating the timetable began in spring 2024 with a focus on ensuring equitable access to specialty programs, maintaining a collaborative learning environment, and addressing the diverse needs of NWSS students. Students, staff, parents, and the community helped shape the timetable’s final design through surveys, discussions, and committee meetings.
